Rewrite some of these commonly used idioms to
make them more interesting, or maybe start a story: “Pardon my French,” “My mind is in a fog,”
“There is more the one way to skin a cat,” “You are on thin ice.”
Pardon my ability to white wash the fence. My thoughts are in the middle of a mine field.
There is more then one way to jump off a
cliff. You are about to step on a
rattlesnake.
